Dr. Charles R. Stewart founded Boise’s first contact lens specialty private practice in 1956, with the philosophy that every patient was to be treated as his friend. After years of successful growth, multiple location changes, and additional doctors joining the practice, the name “VISION One” was born in 1986. The practice moved to its current location in Boise on Americana Boulevard in 1989. Dr. Stewart fully retired from optometry in September of 2001, having established VISION One as the leader in primary eye care for the Treasure Valley. Shortly thereafter in December 2001, Dr. Shawn C. Sorenson and Dr. Aaron J. Warner established Eagle VISION One in the city of Eagle in partnership with VISION One in Boise. Currently Dr. Sorenson and Dr. Warner independently own and operate Eagle VISION One with the same founding philosophy that every patient is their friend and deserves Legendary Eye Care Service.
Eagle VISION One has quickly grown to be the largest primary eye care provider in Eagle, and one of the largest in Idaho. The practice draws many patients from nearby communities in the northwest Treasure Valley.
